Creating Intention: Starting The Day Right

Starting your day with intention can set the tone for the rest of your day. It’s easy to fall into a routine and go through the motions without much thought, but taking the time to set an intention can help you be more mindful and present throughout the day.

Here are some tips to help you create intention and start your day off right:

  1. Wake Up Early: Waking up early can give you some extra time to focus on yourself before the day gets busy. Use this time to meditate, do some yoga, or simply sit quietly and reflect on your intentions for the day.
  2. Set an Intention: Think about what you want to achieve or focus on for the day. It could be something as simple as being kind to yourself, practicing gratitude, or staying focused on your goals. Write down your intention or repeat it to yourself throughout the day.
  3. Practice Mindfulness: Mindfulness is the act of being present and fully engaged in the moment. Take a few minutes to practice mindfulness each morning, whether it’s through meditation, deep breathing, or simply focusing on your surroundings.
  4. Eat a Healthy Breakfast: Starting your day off with a healthy breakfast can give you the energy you need to tackle the day ahead. Try to choose foods that are high in protein and fiber, such as eggs, oatmeal, or fruit.
  5. Exercise: Exercise is a great way to start your day off on the right foot. It can help you feel energized and ready to tackle whatever comes your way. Even a quick walk around the block can help you feel more alert and focused.
  6. Stay Hydrated: Drinking plenty of water throughout the day can help you stay hydrated and focused. Make sure to drink a glass of water first thing in the morning to help jumpstart your metabolism and get your body moving.

Creating intention and starting your day off right doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming. It’s all about taking a few moments each morning to focus on yourself and your goals for the day. By doing so, you can set yourself up for a successful, productive, and fulfilling day.

CLASSES + EVENTS + RETREATS: We offer many types of classes and events, including a 15-month Shamanic Medicine Wheel Course, 12 different herbal classes, Reiki 1, Reiki 2, Reiki Master/Teacher courses, Archangelic Light and Archangelic Light Master courses, Couples classes, and local and traveling retreats for individuals or corporations.
